any用作代词的意思是“无论哪个，无论哪些”，主要用来说明某一特定类型中的各人或对某一集体中的各个成员或对某事物的各个部分。后面加可数名词单数是“任何一个是”。
any other：other用作形容词作“别的，其他的，另外的”解时，常用来修饰复数名词或不可数名词，也可用来修饰单数名词。
