　　Faculty, family, friends, and fellow graduates, good evening.I am honored to address you tonight. On behalf of the graduating masters and doctoral students of Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Science, I would like to thank all the parents, spouses, families, and friends who encouraged and supported us as we worked towards our graduate degrees. I would especially like to thank my own family, eight members of which are in the audience today. I would also like to thank all of the department secretaries and other engineering school staff members who always seemed to be there when confused graduate students needed help. And finally I would like to thank the Washington University faculty members who served as our instructors, mentors, and friends.

　　As I think back on the seven-and-a-half years I spent at Washington University, my mind is filled with memories, happy, sad, frustrating, and even humorous.

　　Tonight I would like to share with you some of the memories that I take with me as I leave Washington University.

　　I take with me the memory of my office on the fourth floor of Lopata Hall - the room at the end of the hallway that was too hot in summer, too cold in winter, and always too far away from the women's restroom. The window was my office's best feature. Were it not for the physics building across the way, it would have afforded me a clear view of the arch. But instead I got a view of the roof of the physics building. I also had a view of one corner of the roof of Urbauer Hall, which seemed to be a favorite perch for various species of birds who alternately won perching rights for several weeks at a time. And I had a nice view of the physics

　　courtyard, noteworthy as a good place for watching people run their dogs. It's amazing how fascinating these views became the longer I worked on my dissertation. But my favorite view was of a nearby oak tree. From my fourth-floor vantage point I had a rather intimate view of the tree and the various birds and squirrels that inhabit it. Occasionally a bird would land on my window sill, which usually had the effect of startling both of us.

　　I take with me the memory of two young professors who passed away while I was a graduate student. Anne Johnstone, the only female professor from whom I took a course in the engineering school, and Bob Durr, a political science professor and a member of my dissertation committee, both lost brave battles with cancer. I remember them fondly.

　　I take with me the memory of failing the first exam in one of the first engineering courses I took as an undergraduate. I remember thinking the course was just too hard for me and that I would never be able to pass it. So I went to talk to the professor, ready to drop the class. And he told me not to give up, he told me I could succeed in his class. For reasons that seemed completely ludicrous at the time, he said he had faith in me. And after that my grades in the class slowly improved, and I ended the semester with an A on the final exam. I remember how motivational it was to know that someone believed in me.

　　I take with me memories of the midwestern friendliness that so surprised me when I arrived in St. Louis 8 years ago. Since moving to New Jersey, I am sad to say, nobody has asked me where I went to high school.I take with me the memory of the short-lived computer science graduate student social committee lunches. The idea was that groups of CS grad students were supposed to take turns cooking a monthly lunch. But after one grad student prepared a pot of chicken that poisoned almost the entire CS grad student population and one unlucky faculty member in one fell swoop, there wasn't much enthusiasm for having more lunches.

Subordinates do not normally use "Mister" when addressing their supervisors. 　　Public displays of affection between the sexes are very common, unlike perhaps where you have come from. In many cities, especially San Francisco, homosexuality is an accepted way of life. You may therefore see men being affectionate with men and women with women. If you disapprove of homosexuals because of your religious or cultural beliefs, please keep it to yourself. You might even find yourself a guest in a gay person's home-and might become shocked to realize that your host is a normal human being like any other and that you are actually enjoying his hospitality. Many couples also live together without being married-and may never marry. But you must realize their bond is probably as strong as the bond of marriage. So don't think one of them is available for a "date."

　　America is a notoriously "open" society, and to most foreigners Americans often appear exceptionally and "instantly" friendly. But sometimes such openness can lead to serious misunderstanding, especially between men and women. A casual invitation to have drinks and/or dinner does not mean that your American host also wants to become "intimate" with you afterwards. So be careful not to read too much into a friendly invitation.

　　Hello everyone！ I am Zhang Yifei class three or four, the topic my speech today is "power of love".

　　On my small bookshelf, there is one of my favorite books, which is a fantastic and interesting "adventure in the woods". This is a novel about unity, love and courage.

　　Bagley grew up because of love that was pointing fish, and aroused him the potential of this thing, I know, love can eliminate fear, bring infinite strength. That's the spirit of small Bagley unremittingly impressed me deeply.

　　I remember once, I went to a hanging bridge, at the beginning, I was standing on the back legs become weak, the children shouted: "hurry up! Hurry up! " The more I was worried, I gave up the challenge. Mother showed a disappointing expression, but continued to encourage me. 　　first, i'd like to thank the commission and my opponents for participating in these debates and making them possible. i think the real winners of the debates were the american people. i was especially moved in richmond a few days ago, when 209 of our fellow citizens got to ask us questions. they went a long way toward reclaiming this election for the american people and taking their country back. i want to say, since this is the last time, i'll be on platform with my opponents, that even though, i disagree with mr. perot on how fast we can reduce the deficit and how much we can increase taxes in the middle class, i really respect what he's done in this campaign to bring the issue of deficit reduction to our attention. i'd like to say that mr. bush even though i have got profound differences with him, i do honor his service to our country. i appreciate his efforts and i wish him well. i just believe it's time to change. i want a country where people, who work hard and play by the rules, are rewarded, not punished. i want a country where people are coming together across the lines of race and region and income. i know we can do better. it won't take miracles and it won't happen overnight, but we can do much, much better, if we have the courage to change.

　　I believe that most of us have a dream of making my voice heard.

　　For example, when you come up with a good idea, you would like to make your voice heard;When you have a talented speech before a person who you have liked a long time ago deliberately , of course you want to make your voice heard by him; When you drown in a river, absolutely making your voice heard is the most important thing that you are eager to do.

　　All above fully vindicate that almost every one has ever made a voice of making my voice heard. But how to make my voice heard? It is really a problem.

　　Food safety is an important issue under the background of globalization ions illness due to consumption of unsafe food, and many people have lost their quality food for everyone on the planet is a potential danger, it is estimated that 2 billion cases of foodborne disease occur each efore, food safety issues have caused concern around the world.

　　In May 1963, the 16th session of the World Health Assembly approved the establishment of the FAO/WHO joint food standards programme, the Codex Alimentarius Commission (CAC) as its main institutions. In 1974 the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization(FAO) sounds the alarm bell to globe for the first time in the world food summit,first proposed the “food security” problem. In June 20xx, the FAO and the World Health Organization convened the global food safety Conference consumer associations from 25 countries, hoped to take the national consumers ' Association played a greater role in promoting food security, prompting the Government to focus on food safety issues.

　　The Kingdom of Lesotho is one of the least developed countries, is located in southern Africa, is a landlocked country. The amount of food can not be guaranteed due to the drought caused food shortages brought about a severe security has become an important issue. ver, in Africa, there are many countries like my own country, people's hunger becomes an important factor in food this issue, my Government believes that:

　　First, all countries should attach great importance to food security in order to achieve the set at the United Nations Millennium goal of reducing poverty by half by 20xx.

　　Second, both developing and developed countries there is a food safety es should enhance food safety management and supervision, establish and improve the food safety supervision system.

　　Third,for the least developed countries, to solve the food safety problem should first ensure food supply, and improve agricultural production.

　　In recent years, we yield reduction and food crisis in the country, identifying appropriate policy objectives to increase food and livestock production to ensure food security.

　　First, the use of appropriate agricultural practices, agricultural inputs in a timely increase crop and livestock production, "Food Safety Plan has been implemented first in some specific area, then in full swing in the country.
